In the heart of the Ski Amadé region, this thermal water park is built for families and for anyone who just wants to thaw out. Thrill-seekers can try a looping slide with a rocket-style launch and a funnel slide, both said to be the only ones of their kind in Austria. There's also a 5-metre water climbing wall, a 3-metre diving tower and a wave pool.
Grown-ups can slip away to the sauna area. Choose from a Swiss stone pine, amethyst, rock crystal, salt or panoramic alpine sauna, or a steam bath, then rest in the salt relaxation room upstairs. Several pools contain 1.5% natural brine from the Salzkammergut, a traditional remedy for tired muscles after a day on the slopes.
Come in the evening during winter for the daily music and laser show over the wave pool. It's a fitting end to a day's skiing, and there's a family sauna too, so nobody gets left out.
